This hangar was built from a Rhino steal building I purchased in 2004. It is a 60 x 60 x 18 at the lowest part of the roof. It has an electric bifold door that is 40 feet across and 14 high. My commander 114 and my 172 went in it with ease.
I have built a 2 bedroom 2 bath home in a second story configuration on steel I beams. Each of the 2 bedrooms has a walk in closet and its own bath. A balcony out the upstairs living room back door overlooks the landing strip.
It also has a bedroom like a bunk house down stairs with a full bath a living room and a kitchenette for those guests. This area would also make a very nice office. A separate laundry room/utility room in back.
It is heated and air conditioning separately up and down.
Utilities- city water and sewer- high speed internet- TXU electric. [3phase power available]..
I built this for my retirement with room for my workshop and tool storage. The whole hangar is well lit with HID lighting. Plenty of room for your plane vehicles and boat. Very little traffic and quite area.
In a few short years I thought I would be living and flying and with the lake just down the street fishing also. Unfortunately I am losing my medical certificate and will be unable to fly.
